We have a TDS8200 (with 80E04) and are running into issues with our IT dept since it's still running Win2k as the OS. Is it possible to upgrade the software to a more modern OS, or do we need to purchase a newer oscilloscope?

I've been testing SCPI commands via the Talker/Listener tab of the web interface with marginal success. However, I reloaded the web page after a response timed out, and now am being asked for a password to access the page. I haven't set a password, and basic guesses of what the default password might be (empty password, "Tektronix", admin, 0s, etc.) have all failed. Can you shed some light on why this is happening, and how to get around it? I've confirmed that I'm still connected to the device; the max delay between last successful SCPI command (DATA:STOP 1000) and lockout is maybe 2 minutes, and nothing has really changed.

How can I determine if my MSO54 is still under warranty? I am having issues with the screen staying black when the unit is powered up, even though the lights and fans are working.

Can you tell me more information on the accuracy of the MDO3012? I was looking through the user manual and couldn't find any warranted specifications.

My TDS2002C is not reading voltages correctly. When I get peak voltage levels, I only gets a hundredth of what I anticipate. For example, when I measure 800 volts, the unit only shows 8 volts. I'm not sure what's causing the problem because it this was working properly yesterday. Any ideas on what the issue may be?

I am ysing voltage differentiable probe P5200A and current clamp coil TRCP3000; The channels are unable to recognize the probes. Do you know how to fix this?
