  • RE: DPO73304DX Updating OS

    Fri, 30 Sep 2022 19:45:41 GMT – DPO73304DX Updating OS

You can upgrade your DPO73304DX to windows 10 by ordering part DPO7SSD-W10. The drive is user installable but there are two different but the exact option will depend on whether your scope is using the motherboard supporting the IntelCore 2 (M566) or the IntelCore i7 (M581) CPU, you can verify this by checking the system information within Windows on the scope or referring to the attached image to identify the I/O shield of the motherboard. When you are ready you can order the part directly from buy@tektronix.com

    Hello,

USB 3.2 is backwards compatible, so that is unlikely the issue. Check that the file system is formatted to FAT32. To do this, plug the USB into your computer, right click on the drive and select Properties.

  • RE: 2400 can't be identified in KickStart

    Fri, 30 Sep 2022 19:45:31 GMT – 2400 can't be identified in KickStart

    Hello,

It's likely that you have your 2400 set to RS-232 remote interface and not GPIB. Once you set the remote interface to GPIB, KickStart should be able to detect the 2400. See page 36 of this manual: https://download.tek.com/manual/2400S-900-01_K-Sep2011_User.pdf

The THP0301 is a passive voltage probe. It is built like a single-ended probe, but is designed for use with the THS3000 series which can be floated above ground. The manual for the probe will explain more on this: https://www.tek.com/en/thp0301-x-manual/thp0301-probe

For more information on all types of probes, including single ended vs. differential probes, refer to our ABC's of Probes document: https://www.tek.com/en/documents/whitepaper/abcs-probes-primer

    Hello,

Make sure that the USB is formatted with the FAT32 File System. This scope should not have any issues with a USB 3.0 flash drive.
