RE: MDO34 Internal noise on power up. New Unit
Hello,
These sounds are standard for the power up time of our instruments. In these five minutes, the scope is running tests and diagnostics to ensure everything is working properly inside the unit.

RE: DPO72304DX Maximum Time Recording
How to set the sample rate of an acquisition to 100GS/s.can be found in the ‘Selecting the horizontal mode’ section of the user manual. (Page 43 of the User Manual, PDF page 45). I also have instructions below.
DPO70000DX User Manual: https://www.tek.com/en/oscilloscope/dpo70000-mso70000-manual/mso70000dx-dpo70000dx-mso70000c-dpo70000c-dpo7000c-mso5000b-0
• Click the ‘Horiz/Acq’ Tab -> ‘Horizontal/Acquisition Setup’-> adjust the ‘Sample Rate’ to 100GS/s.
• The Horizontal Time Scale that can be used at this sample rate will depend on the record length (RL) of the instrument.
• For example the DPO73304DX that I am using has option 50XL (500M RL on all channels, or 1G RL on 2 channels). This allows me to sample at 100GS/s at a time scale of up to 1ms/div.
• By changing the Mode to ‘Constant Sample Rate’ the sample rate is locked. You can then adjust the Time Scale to the maximum setting. This max time setting will be the maximum time scale that can be set for a locked sample rate.MSO70000DX User manual Page 43.

RE: 4200A-SCS Maximum Heat
The 4200A-SCS Datasheet does not specify Heat output; it only specifies Ambient temperature requirements for operating and storage, and the effect of temperature and humidity on the SMU performance. Warm-up time (for the internal circuitry to stabilize at an operating temperature) is 30 minutes.
Operating: +10° to +40°C
Storage: –15° to +60°CI'll have to see if we specify heat output; this would vary based on the system configuration (instruments installed).

RE: TBS2204B MATLAB Drivers
Hello,
The MATLAB drivers would be on the MathWorks website if they were available for this instrument. As the TBS2204B does not have a driver available, you would need to contact MathWorks directly to request a driver be created.

RE: TDS3032 Mathematical post processing
Hello,
You can have the scope calculate phase and amplitude using automated measurements. Phase can be found as the fourth option on page 3, and amplitude is the fourth option on page 4. Unfortunately the TDS3000 does not have the capability to log this data internally. You will need to use a program such as labview to capture and log the measurements.

RE: TBS2072 Margin of Error
Hello,
There are measurement accuracy specifications listed in the Performance Verification manual: https://www.tek.com/en/oscilloscope/tbs2000-digital-storage-oscilloscope-manual/tbs2000-series-1. These specifications are on pages 2 and 5 for voltage and time measurement accuracy.

RE: TDS1000 replacement for capturing Series AC-DC waveforms
Hi,
The oscilloscopes that I would suggest are the TBS1000C or TBS2000B. I have linked the product pages to the these scopes below.
TBS1000C Digital Storage Oscilloscope: TBS1000C Digital Storage Oscilloscope | Tektronix
TBS2000B Digital Storage Oscilloscope: TBS2000B Digital Storage Oscilloscope | Tektronix -
RE: P6139B Insulator Sleeve Replacement
Hi,
The latest part number for the insulator sleeve is 204-1226-01. I don't show any distributor stock of this part, so you will likely need to order direct. To do that, you can call 1-800-833-9200 opt. 1.

RE: TDS2014 replacement?
Thanks for contacting us,
I'd recommend taking a look at the TBS2104B for a similar 4 channel 100MHz scope: https://www.tek.com/en/products/oscilloscopes/tbs2000
